We verify facts before publication. Information is checked against at least two reliable sources where possible. We clearly separate fact, analysis, and opinion. Unconfirmed reports are labeled as developing or unverified.
- Fairness and Balance
We present multiple sides on contested issues. People or organizations criticized in our reporting are given a fair chance to respond before publication when possible.
- Independence
Editorial decisions are made by our editorial team only. Advertising, sponsorship, and PR clients do not influence news coverage. Any sponsored content or advertorials on http://theviewnigeria.com.ng will be clearly labeled as Sponsored or Advertorial.
- Privacy and Public Interest
